Bart Jan Hoevers appointed new managing director of Gasunie Transport Services

Bart Jan Hoevers (1971) has been appointed as managing director of the Dutch transmission system operator Gasunie Transport Services (GTS).

He succeeds Annie Krist, who now is CEO of gas trading company GasTerra. Hoevers will also join Gasunie’s Executive Board. The appointment was approved by the Minister of Finance, shareholder of Gasunie.

Bart Jan Hoevers started his career in 1996 with De Nederlandsche Bank. From 2001 to 2007, he worked for the Ministry of Finance. In 2007, he started working for Gasunie, where he held various management positions.

Hoevers studied monetary economics at the University of Groningen.
